About The Event
A seminar on career opportunities in the insurance sector was organized on 06/07/2023 by KICMA Business School in collaboration with LIC Nedumangadu branch. It aimed to provide valuable insights into the career prospects within the insurance industry. The event, which saw active participation from the students of KICMA, was held under the coordination of Dr. Vishnunath VG, Assistant Professor, KICMA, and Dr. Balamuraly SS, Assistant Professor, KICMA. The seminar, attended by 60 students from S2 and S4, commenced with the inauguration by Smt. Susan P John, Senior Branch Manager of LIC of India, Nedumangadu Branch. The event was presided over by Dr. Rajesh S Pyngavil, Director, KICMA. Dr. Rakesh Kumar S, Associate Professor, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the informative sessions that followed. Throughout the seminar, various aspects of the insurance sector, including career options, growth prospects, and industry trends, were discussed. Experts from the insurance industry shared their experiences and provided valuable insights. The students had the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the sector. Ms. Aishwarya AV, S2 student, KICMA, concluded the seminar with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the participants, speakers, and organizers for their contributions in making the event a success.
