Choosing snowmobiles

A well-known proverb tells us that sledges should be cooked in the summer. At least in the fall. But not in winter. It's safe to say that snowmobiles should be prepared for winter right now. I've already taken care of my snow all-terrain vehicle and bought CVT belts for Yamaha so that I don't have to come back to this issue when the skating season arrives. However, not everyone has snowmobiles. But many people have a desire to buy them. As a rule, the problem is the lack of information and, consequently, the lack of understanding.: what is it, what is it for, and how to take it in? Let's figure it out.

Snowmobiles come in different types, varying in purpose: sports, hiking, mountain, cargo and children's. Based on your plans for the operation of the machine, you can choose the one that suits you best.

With sports, everything is clear: these are powerful, agile, light-weight snowmobiles. They don't walk well on loose snow, and you shouldn't ride them into the woods. It is best to use them to conquer paved roads and icy plains. Sports snowmobiles are available as single-seaters.

Tourist snowmobiles are vehicles for driving on hard-packed roads and shallow snow. As a rule, they are available in double rooms. They weigh quite a lot and look bulky. Due to the large size of such a snowmobile, it is difficult to pull it out of snowdrifts and holes.

Mountain snowmobiles have a high cross-country capability. They are designed for riding in deep snow on uneven terrain. These are single-person snowmobiles. Their tracks have special enlarged hooks to overcome difficult routes.

Household cargo snowmobiles are also called snow trucks. These are the best cross-country cars on flat terrain. Their main difference is a very wide track and a large volume of luggage compartments. They ride well both in the field and in the forest. They are equipped with a tow bar and allow you to pull a load of up to five hundred kilograms.

Children's snowmobiles are small lightweight models with low power. Suitable for children from nine to twelve years old.

As a rule, they choose either between sports and mountain, or between tourist and cargo. It's not difficult to figure out sports and mountain snowmobiles: it all depends on the intended routes. If the amount of snow cover is assumed to be small, then a sports model is suitable, but if you are waiting for virgin snow, then you should take a mountain snowmobile.

As for the choice between tourist and cargo, it is better to give preference to the latter. It is more comfortable and has a higher cross-country ability. The main disadvantage is that the maximum speed will not exceed 120 km/h. Handling is also slightly worse than tourist handling, however, if we consider new models, then this disadvantage is already a thing of the past. Παίξε στο Casinolab casino και δοκίμασε την τύχη σου.
