Application instructions
Please read these instructions before you start your application.
Before applying
- The MBA programme has four semesters and normally takes two years to complete.
- Please read the current KICMA prospectus to check whether you are eligible to apply. It contains details about degree marks, reservations and entrance examinations.
- Keep your KMAT, CMAT or CAT details ready, if applicable.
- Application fee is ₹500.
How to apply
- Register with your name, Indian mobile number, email address and date of birth. Create a password with at least 12 characters.
- Use an email address and mobile number that you regularly use. We will use them to contact you and help you recover your account if needed.
- Pay the application fee on the secure Worldline payment page. After your payment is successful, you will receive an application number and can fill in the full application form.
- You can return at any time and sign in with your email address and the password you created. Your date of birth is not your password.
- Fill in all the required details and upload the requested documents. Your work is saved while you are online, so you can leave and continue later.
- Check all your information carefully before selecting Submit final application. After final submission, you cannot make changes unless the admissions office allows corrections.
- After payment, you can print or save your application as a PDF. Keep a copy of the final submitted application for your records.
If payment is interrupted
If the payment page closes or your internet connection is interrupted, please do not pay again immediately. Sign in and check Payment history first. If your payment is still not shown, contact the admissions office and provide your order number or Worldline reference number. Select Try payment again only after checking the earlier payment.
Information and files to prepare
- A recent passport-style photograph in JPG or PNG format, up to 2 MB.
- Your signature and your parent’s signature. Sign on white paper using blue or black ink, and save each signature as a JPG or PNG file up to 1 MB.
- Your 10th, Plus Two and degree mark sheets in PDF, JPG or PNG format, up to 5 MB each.
- Your KMAT, CMAT or CAT scorecard, if applicable, in PDF, JPG or PNG format, up to 5 MB.
- Your caste, community or cooperative certificate, if applicable, in PDF, JPG or PNG format, up to 5 MB.
- Your actual marks and maximum marks. Do not enter percentages in the fields asking for marks.
- The name of your 10th and Plus Two boards, your degree college, and the university that awarded your degree.
Address and document guidance
- India, Kerala and Thiruvananthapuram are selected for you at first. Change them if they do not match your address.
- If your communication address is the same as your permanent address, select Same as permanent address.
- You may be asked to show your original certificates later. Please keep your academic, entrance score, transfer, conduct and reservation certificates ready, where applicable.
- Sign in to your application page to check your application and document status.
Selection information
Selection may be based on your qualifying examination results, entrance examination score, group discussion and personal interview, according to the current KICMA and university rules. Details about the next steps will be sent to your registered email address.
